Do you find yourself having trouble getting started and sticking to your routine? Most people do great with a routine and others have to play it by here because of work schedules, kids schedules, etc. The best thing you can do for yourself is set up a schedule for yourself and stick to it as best as you can. If worse comes to worse, you can ALWAYS move things around, but try to check everything off as you go. Whether that be starting your day off with a workout before work, or a lunch workout, or even heading to the gym before you head home for the day. Guess what? 20-30 minutes is better than nothing and saying "I'm gonna skip today because I ran out of time." Keep it simple. 4-5 exercises, 12-15 reps of each exercise at 3-5 sets each will set you at an attainable pace, and a goal to finish your workout.
Also, write your workouts on paper! Get yourself a journal or a small notebook and literally write and keep it just for workouts. Then you can look back and say "I did all of this." It sounds silly, but when you look over your progress over a month exercising 3-6 days per week, you'll excel quicker than you've ever imagined. Ladies and gentlemen, self-care is the best care, and you owe it to yourself to give yourself the time to take care of your mind and your body. So, get that seratonin up, push those endorphins throught the roof, and excel with your goals!
