Permission to Fail, then Grow

Kaitlyn Lewicki-Gorney

Give yourself permission to fail. Even the best of the best have fallen somewhere. Take exercise as an example. You can follow a routine to the absolute T, when all of a sudden, you plateau. Why? Because it's time to switch something up. Is it weight, nutrition, tempo? Or a multitude of things? Sometimes you have to dip your toes in the water a bit in order to find that missing piece, and THEN you can start bouncing forward again.

You may never look like you did in high school. I sure don't.

You may never look like you did after you have kids, if you've had children. I sure don't.

No bouncing back, we bounce forward, we grow stronger, we lift ourselves up each and every day because you have to be strong for yourself. If you can't be strong for yourself, well I can be strong for you, because I will always be your cheerleader. So do yourself a favor, take a look in the mirror today. Tell yourself "it's ok to fail, I'm gonna come back stronger, this is temporary."
