No Magic Pill, Sorry

Kaitlyn Lewicki-Gorney

Exercise is hard work. It's hard work to wake up every day, find that inner strength, and do the thing. If you were offered a magic pill to make all your problems disappear in terms of health, would you? The majority would say yes, but there is no magic pill unfortunately. For someone to quit smoking, they have to be willing to put down the cigarette's, cigars, etc. For someone to lower their blood sugar, they have to learn to incorporate healthier foods into their diet and eat sugar in moderation. As for fitness, it's the same way. Magic pills won't change your body shape, gain you a flat tummy, get rid of your medication, because it takes away the hard work and dedication. Fitness might be able to do all of these things for you. Wouldn't it be great to wake up each day and just feel your absolute best? Knowing you put that work in each and every day to change your life for the better, how does that make you feel that you did the hard stuff?

So throw away that imaginary magic pill in your head, and start dedicating yourself to something that's challenging but worth it.

Wake up.

Show up.

Do the thing.

Get the result.

Love a healthy and happy life.
