Eating to Lose

Kaitlyn Lewicki-Gorney

Struggling with balancing diet and exercise? Good with one but not the other? It doesn't have to be hard. Start with something small. Take a walk, ride your bike, find an excuse to get outside. Weather is getting nicer! Start with 3000 steps per day and work your way up to 10000 and go up from there! It doesn't always have to be go big or go home. Give yourself a little TLC because you deserve it.

As for diet, you don't need to get rid of every single thing you love in your house to make progress. What do you need to do? Balance. You can still eat your sweets, you can still eat your salty, but moderate it! Add veggies, all the veggies. It's basically free calories you don't need to track. One small thing leads to more results and then the rest just keeps rolling. You're doing great. Just keep being honest with yourself. No need to punish yourself if you forget to do one thing in the day. Like I said above, one step at a time.
